Detailed Description​
The SHIP operator fetches data from a remote source in a federated system. Unlike RPD which operates on non-relational sources, SHIP will be called for when the remote source is relational. The remote plan will not be inspected by the optimizer meaning that it will not know how efficient the remote operation will be.
