Detailed Description
The RIDSCN operator shows a scan of a list of row identifiers known as RIDs obtained from one or more indexes.
RIDSCN can be used when your query contains OR’d items or an IN-list. DB2 uses index ORing can be used. This combines the results from multiple indexed access on one table. RIDSCN can also be used when DB2 optimizes I/O. It prefetches an index so that reads from disc can as efficient as possible.
