DBmarlin 1.8.0 released - supporting more SQL Server versions
Version 1.8 of DBmarlin adds support for older SQL Server versions and other SQL Server improvements
Listening to the feedback from our customers, we heard that a significant number are still running older versions of SQL Server from 2012 and even 2008.
As often happens in software, the new applications get to run on new versions of databases but it is not uncommon for legacy applications to remain on older database technologies since there is no compelling reason to touch them.
With this new release, you can now monitor SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 as well as 2012 and 2012 R2.
Continuing the SQL Server theme for this month, we also fixed a couple of issues: one related to formatting of batch explain plans, where arrows would sometimes not display, and another related to the batch drill-down links not working.
